THREE DISTINCT SKUS
500-196-30 · 500-197-30 · 500-193-30
The collection currently includes Mitutoyo 500-196-30 (6 in / 150 mm), 500-197-30 (8 in / 200 mm), and 500-193-30 (12 in / 300 mm). Each has its own product page and SKU.
Choose a measuring range that covers the largest part you normally inspect. The 6-inch model covers up to 150 mm, the 8-inch model up to 200 mm, and the 12-inch model up to 300 mm. Compare the full model specifications before purchase.
The 500-196-30 and 500-197-30 models have a stated accuracy of ±0.02 mm. The longer-range 500-193-30 model has a stated accuracy of ±0.03 mm. Accuracy is different from display resolution.
All three selected calipers have a digital display resolution of 0.01 mm / 0.0005 in, according to the manufacturer specifications.
Yes. The selected Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE Digimatic models provide inch/metric measurement display.
The selected 500-196-30, 500-197-30 and 500-193-30 models are listed without a measurement-data output port. Do not assume USB, SPC or computer connectivity is included.

WORKSHOP PRACTICE
Always follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Depending on the workpiece, these calipers can measure outside dimensions, inside dimensions, depth and step distances. Follow the manufacturer instructions for the correct contact points and technique.
ABSOLUTE technology retains the established origin reference, helping you resume measurements without repeatedly resetting the origin. Refer to the supplied Mitutoyo operating instructions for zero-setting and relative measurement modes.
Do not treat these models as IP67-rated waterproof tools. Keep them away from unnecessary liquid exposure, and check the specific model documentation for its environmental limits.
Wipe the measuring faces and slider with a clean, soft cloth, remove debris after use, and store the tool safely in its case when available. Avoid impacts, excessive force and corrosive cleaning agents.
These Series 500 models use an SR44-type button cell according to Mitutoyo product information. Refer to the model manual for correct replacement and handling.
